Basketball Recap: Loretto Takes a Loss

Loretto lost against Andress back in November of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Loretto Angels took a 48-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Andress Eagles. The Angels just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Loretto's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Andress, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Loretto and Santa Teresa will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Loretto is facing Santa Teresa at the right time seeing as Santa Teresa is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Andress will take on Canutillo in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
