Basketball Game Preview: Caddo Hills Indians vs. Western Yell County Wolverines

The Caddo Hills Indians and the Western Yell County Wolverines will round out the year against one another at at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Thursday, Caddo Hills didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Acorn, but they still walked away with a 66-62 win.

Meanwhile, Western Yell County had to endure a 19-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They blew past Oark 66-43 last Friday. The Wolverines' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Western Yell County's victory ended a 14-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-11. As for Caddo Hills, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Everything came up roses for Caddo Hills against Western Yell County in their previous matchup back in November, as the team secured a 62-12 win. Will Caddo Hills repeat their success, or does Western Yell County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
