Volleyball Recap: Warde Picks Up Ninth Straight Win at Home

Warde extended their home winning streak to nine games thanks to a huge performance from Kayla Huynh. The Mustangs came out on top against the Staples Wreckers by a score of 3-1 on Monday with plenty of help from Huynh, who had 14 digs and one assist. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last five games she's played.

While Warde might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Staples scored at least 21 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-22, 23-25, 25-21.

Warde's win bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Staples, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Coincidentally, Warde and Staples will both be playing Ludlowe the next time they take the court. The Mustangs will head out to face the Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Wreckers will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
