Volleyball Recap: North Crowley Comes Up Short

North Crowley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Mansfield Tigers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

Brooklyn Peoples paced North Crowley's offense, picking up ten kills. Peoples got some help from Abrielle Johnson and her 25 assists. Johnson also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Yazmin Wheat, each putting up two.

North Crowley's defeat dropped their record down to 14-12. As for Mansfield, their victory was their 15th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 39-1.

North Crowley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Lake Ridge on the 10th. As for Mansfield, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Crowley on the 10th.
