Basketball Recap: Klein Cain Takes a Loss

Klein Cain was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 59-56 heartbreaker at the hands of the Tomball Memorial Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Hurricanes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 881st, while the Wildcats are ranked 312th).

Klein Cain's defeat dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Tomball Memorial, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-12.

Klein Cain will venture away from home to challenge Magnolia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Klein Cain is facing Magnolia at the right time seeing as Magnolia is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Tomball Memorial, they will challenge Klein Forest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
