Basketball Recap: Southwest Christian School Takes a Loss

Southwest Christian School lost against Grace Prep two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Southwest Christian School Eagles were beaten by the Grace Prep Lions 97-59. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 758th, while the Lions are ranked 131st).

Grace Prep found their leader in freshman Mj Boyd, who went 9 for 13 on his way to 23 points along with seven boards and five assists. The matchup was Boyd's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Oakley Sarshar, who went 6 of 10 from beyond the arc en route to 19 points.
