On Wednesday, Lebanon faced Cookeville in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Lebanon Blue Devils fell 45-32 to the Cookeville Cavaliers. The Blue Devils' defeat signaled the end of their ten-game winning streak.

Cookeville got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Cara Lee Gilbert out in front who posted 16 points. Gilbert's morning made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Callie Reeder, who scored ten points.
