Kirby Prep posted their biggest win since January 12, 2024 on Friday. They blew past the Anzar Hawks 63-43. The Griffins' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Kirby Prep's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chris Lively, who posted 19 points and six boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Rain Li, who scored 15 points and eight rebounds.

Kirby Prep's win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-9. As for Anzar, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-6.

Kirby Prep will take on Monterey Bay Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Anzar, they will challenge Ceiba College Preparatory Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Anzar is facing Ceiba College Preparatory Academy at the right time seeing as Ceiba College Preparatory Academy is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
