Volleyball Recap: Bard Early College Comes Up Short

Bard Early College's tournament run continued when they took on Brecksville-Broadview Heights on Saturday. The Raptors fell just short of the Bees by a score of 2-1. The Raptors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bard Early College actually scored more points across those three sets (65-64), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 14-25, 25-18.

Despite the loss, Bard Early College still got an impressive performance from Alonso Ezell, who had 17 digs and two aces. Ezell is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had ten or more in each of the last ten games he's played.

Bard Early College's loss dropped their record down to 16-4. As for Brecksville-Broadview Heights, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-11.

Bard Early College didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Max S. Hayes on the 5th. As for Brecksville-Broadview Heights, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Walsh Jesuit on the 5th.
