Football Recap: Christian Heritage Wins Going Away Against Coosa

There's no place like home for Christian Heritage, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against the Coosa Eagles on Friday by a score of 49-21 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The game marked the Lions' most dominant win of the season.

Christian Heritage's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Henry Hill, who rushed for 92 yards and one TD on only 11 carries.

Although Coosa took the loss, they still got scores from Xander Sledge, Timbo Mitchell, and Jordan Scott.

Christian Heritage has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 32.0 points over those games. As for Coosa, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Christian Heritage will challenge Gordon Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Coosa, they will take on Armuchee at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
