Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Phil Campbell turned things around against Shoals Christian on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Flame as they made off with a 72-50 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Bobcats have posted since November 19th.

Meanwhile, South Lamar came tearing into Monday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12 points) and they left with even more momentum. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Blue Devils 53-51. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Stallions have posted since January 11th.

The win got Phil Campbell back to even at 8-8. As for South Lamar, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6.
