There's no place like home for Wakefield, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They put the hurt on the Knightdale Knights with a sharp 9-0 victory on Wednesday. Wakefield might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by five goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Knightdale from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Mallory Stroud led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

Wakefield's win bumped their record up to 7-8-3. As for Knightdale, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16-1.
