Baseball Recap: Mt. Pleasant Cardinals vs. San Jose Bulldogs

Mt. Pleasant put the finishing touches on their eighth blowout victory of the season on Wednesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the San Jose Bulldogs a 13-0 shutout. The win made it back-to-back victories for Mt. Pleasant.

Michael Blanco made a splash while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and only two hits while striking out 14 over five innings pitched. Blanco was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, Luis Pena was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
