Lincoln had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Oak Grove on Monday. The Lions were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Eagles. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 matchups by six runs or more this season.

Andres Garcia spent all five innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on three hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Lorenzo Collazo was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. Ryan Bernwanger was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Lincoln always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .513. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Oak Grove only posted an OBP of .200.

Lincoln pushed their record up to 21-5 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Oak Grove, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 15 of their last 16 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-21 record this season.

Lincoln will have a chance to go back-to-back against Oak Grove: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
