Recap: Foundation Collegiate Academy Wolves vs. Girard College Cavaliers
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Foundation Collegiate Academy Wolves, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They fell 51-44 to the Cavaliers on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Foundation Collegiate Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 654th in New Jersey, while the Cavaliers are ranked 296th in Pennsylvania).
It was another big night for Antoine Seals, who scored 27 points along with three steals for Girard College. Another player making a difference was Brasen Avent, who scored two points along with 20 rebounds and five steals.
Foundation Collegiate Academy are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7. As for Girard College, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 10-11 record this season.
Foundation Collegiate Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Girard College also has no future games currently scheduled.
