Softball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Jackson

Jackson entered their tilt with Glacier Peak on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Grizzlies by a score of 6-1. The Timberwolves have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Grizzlies, too.

Clara Dorgan spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on two hits and racked up 14 Ks. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.5 strikeouts per game.

At the plate, Madi Jacquot was incredible, firing off two home runs and five RBI while going 3-for-3. Those home runs marked the first that she has launched this season.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Jackson lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in May of 2025.

The victory was their first at home, bumping their record up to 4-6. As for Glacier Peak, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.

Coincidentally, Jackson and Glacier Peak will both be playing Lake Stevens the next time they take the field. The Grizzlies will head out to face the Vikings at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Timberwolves will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
