Basketball Recap: Putnam Has No Trouble Against Hillsboro

Putnam's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They came out on top against the Hillsboro Spartans by a score of 54-44. That ten point margin sets a new team best for the Kingsmen this season.

Putnam's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Hillsboro, they now have a losing record at 6-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Putnam will square off against La Salle at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in La Salle's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last ten games. As for Hillsboro, they will take on Wilsonville at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Wilsonville will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Hillsboro surely won't give up without a fight.
