Volleyball Recap: The Academy Has No Trouble Against Kiowa

The Academy saw some tournament action on Saturday. They blew past the Kiowa Indians 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-14, 25-18.

Ava Gallegos paced The Academy's offense, picking up eight kills. Gallegos got some help from Olivia Luxner and her 16 assists.

The Academy's win bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Kiowa, their loss dropped their record down to 12-9.

The Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Lyons on the 1st. As for Kiowa, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Gilpin County on the 1st.
