Soccer Recap: Chaminade Comes Up Short

Chaminade lost against Newbury Park back in November of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Chaminade Eagles lost 4-0 to the Newbury Park Panthers. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Chaminade now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Newbury Park, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chaminade will head out to challenge Simi Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Chaminade is facing Simi Valley at the right time seeing as Simi Valley is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Newbury Park, they will head out on the road to square off against Loyola at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Newbury Park knows how to get goals on the board -- the team has finished with four goals or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Loyola likes a good challenge.
