Volleyball Game Preview: Glen Ridge Ridgers vs. Harrison Blue Tide

The Glen Ridge Ridgers will head out to face off against the Harrison Blue Tide at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Glen Ridge turned things around against Livingston last Thursday. They won by a set and slipped past the Lancers 2-1.

Meanwhile, it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Harrison had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Wildcats. The win was familiar territory for the Blue Tide, who have now won seven games in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Harrison took both sets by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-13.

Harrison pushed their record up to 26-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Glen Ridge, their win bumped their record up to 16-7.
