Recap: Boerne Greyhounds vs. Uvalde Coyotes/Lobos (for girls)
The Boerne Greyhounds scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 88-34 victory over Uvalde. Winning may never get old, but Boerne sure is getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Boerne to victory, but perhaps none more so than Casen Hoegemeyer, who scored 20 points along with three steals. The contest was Hoegemeyer's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Slade Salinas, who scored 16 points.
Boerne's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.4 points per game. As for Uvalde, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-11.
Boerne will head out on the road to face off against Southside at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Uvalde will be home for the holidays to greet Comfort at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
