Baseball Recap: Lakota Find Success

Lakota came out on top against Toledo Christian on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run fifth inning. The Raiders took their matchup against the Eagles 7-2.

The team relied heavily on AJ Gosche, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Another player making a difference was Jacob Hines, who went 2-for-5 with one stolen base and two RBI.

The victory got Lakota back to even at 1-1. As for Toledo Christian, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Lakota didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Woodmore on the 6th. As for Toledo Christian, they have also already played their next contest, a 12-11 defeat against Lake on the 6th.
