West Shamokin came tearing into Thursday's matchup with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21 points) and they left with even more momentum. They snuck past the Penns Manor Comets with a 51-45 win. The Wolves have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Comets, too.

Penns Manor lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Amin Lieb, who posted six points in addition to seven rebounds and six assists. Another player making a difference was Vinny Myers, who had 16 points.

West Shamokin pushed their record up to 9-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points per game. As for Penns Manor, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.
