Recap: South Forsyth vs. Lanier
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Buford, the South Forsyth War Eagles were happy to have found some success on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand Lanier a 4-0 shutout. The high-scoring effort was just what South Forsyth needed considering they were shutout in their previous contest.
They hit Lanier with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Ella Thongsouk (2),
Ryleigh Tomlinson, and
Ella Bryson.
South Forsyth now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Lanier, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Forsyth will take on West Hall at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lanier, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Centennial at 5:30 p.m.
