Recap: West Carroll Thunder vs. River Ridge/Scales Mound Wildcats
The West Carroll Thunder's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their 15th straight defeat. They were dealt a 53-23 defeat at the hands of River Ridge/Scales Mound. West Carroll has not had much luck with River Ridge/Scales Mound recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Laiken Haas had an outrageously good game for River Ridge/Scales Mound as she scored 13 points along with six assists and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Emily Wiederholt, who scored 13 points.
West Carroll has been struggling recently as they've lost 17 of their last 18 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-24 record this season. As for River Ridge/Scales Mound, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season.
West Carroll didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 92-33 loss vs. East Dubuque on the 6th. River Ridge/Scales Mound has also already played their next game, a 54-38 win against Warren on the 6th.
