Recap: Manual Rams vs. Rock Falls Rockets
The Manual Rams's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They took a 55-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of Rock Falls.
Rock Falls got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Claire Bickett out in front who scored 22 points along with five rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Bickett has scored at least a third of Rock Falls' points. Another player making a difference was Nicolette Udell, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds.
Manual's defeat dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Rock Falls, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-20.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Manual will take on the Ironmen at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Normal Community will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Rock Falls, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against the Dukes & Duchesses at 6:45 p.m. Dixon is looking to tack on another W to their six-game streak on the road.
