Volleyball Recap: Cardinal Takes a Loss

The home team had come away the winner the last six times Cardinal and Albia had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Comets lost 3-0 to the Blue Demons on Wednesday. The loss continues a trend for the Comets in their meetings with the Blue Demons: they've now lost six in a row.

Cardinal's defeat dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Albia, their victory bumped their record up to 9-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Cardinal will head out to face off against Seymour on Saturday. As for Albia, they will take on Centerville at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
