Baseball Recap: Navasota Falls to West Fork in First Game of Season

Navasota had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Fork Gators on Monday. The Rattlers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Gators apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Navasota saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Owen Otto, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. What's more, Otto also posted two hits, the most he's had since back in February of 2024.

Coming up, Navasota will be taking part in a tournament against Livingston at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for West Fork, they will take on Madisonville in a tournament on Thursday.
