Baseball Recap: Peebles Comes Up Short

Peebles was the 4-3 winner over Eastern when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Indians took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors on Thursday.

Brandon Rayburn made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.

Peebles has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. As for Eastern, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-7.

As of now, neither Peebles nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
