Baseball Game Preview: Denver Academy Mustangs vs. Estes Park Bobcats

Denver Academy is 0-3 against Estes Park since May of 2022 but things could change on Thursday. The Mustangs will welcome the Bobcats at 4:00 p.m.

Denver Academy came up short against Bishop Machebeuf on Tuesday, falling 15-6. The loss put an end to the Mustangs' undefeated start to the season.

Denver Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Josh Ortman, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, Estes Park earned an 8-3 victory over Fort Lupton on Tuesday. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Bluedevils recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Having lost for the first time this season, Denver Academy fell to 2-1. As for Estes Park, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Denver Academy might still be hurting after the 12-0 defeat they got from Estes Park when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Mustangs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
