Volleyball Recap: Orion Chargers vs. Riverdale Rams
Orion had already won ten in a row and they went ahead and made it 11 on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Riverdale Rams. For the Chargers, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 defeat the Rams walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September.
Orion easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-20.
Leading Orion to victory were Allison Taets and Kennedy Debaillie. Taets had 11 assists, while Debaillie had six digs.
Despite the loss, Riverdale had strong showings from Ali Deporter, who had seven digs and two aces, and Kamryn Kruger, who had five digs and a kill.
