Meanwhile, Deer Valley suffered their biggest defeat since September 17th on Monday. They lost 3-0 to ALA - Queen Creek. The Skyhawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: ALA - Queen Creek scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-17, 25-17.
Goldwater's record now sits at 5-1. As for Deer Valley, they now have a losing record at 10-11.
