Baseball Recap: Frankfort Takes a Loss

Frankfort was the 7-2 winner over Marysville when they last played one another on Friday, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats lost 11-5 to the Bulldogs on Friday.

Frankfort's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-3. As for Marysville, their victory bumped their record up to 6-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Frankfort will face off against Blue Valley on Monday. The Rams will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last. As for Marysville, they will head out on the road to face off against Clay Center on Tuesday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight.
