Basketball Recap: Temple Christian Comes Up Short

Temple Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against Young Men's Leadership Academy, falling 69-13. The contest marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of Miles Page and Cadent McGraw, who each put up six points. Drew Anderson held things down on the boards with eight rebounds.

Temple Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Young Men's Leadership Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

Temple Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 59-34 loss against Trimble Tech on the 30th. As for Young Men's Leadership Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 60-34 victory against Castleberry on the 30th.
