Softball Recap: South Side Hornet vs. West Side Eagles

South Side stacked a 12th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They put the hurt on the West Side Eagles with a sharp 15-1 win. The high-scoring effort was just what South Side needed considering they were shutout in their previous game.

Ali Goodwin made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Goodwin was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

In other batting news, Olivia Frazier was a standout: she scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Hallie Holland was another key contributor, scoring two runs while going 1-for-1.
