Basketball Game Preview: Fairview Eagles vs. Phelps Hornets

The Fairview Eagles will square off against the Phelps Hornets at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Fairview is coming into the match on a six-game losing streak.

Fairview came up short against West Carter on Monday, falling 63-41. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Eagles have suffered against the Comets since December 3, 2019.

Meanwhile, Phelps beat Scott 74-66 on Saturday.

The win got Phelps back to even at 11-11. As for Fairview, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-17.

Fairview took a serious blow against Phelps in their previous matchup back in January, falling 85-50. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Phelps' Tyler Weddington, who dropped a double-double with 26 points and 24 boards.
