Basketball Recap: Hampden's Undefeated Season over After Three Games + How To Watch

After flying high against Oxford Hills on Saturday, Hampden came back down to earth. The Broncos lost to the Camden Hills Windjammers on the road by a 49-31 margin on Tuesday. The Broncos were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Windjammers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February.

Naia Studley was Hampden's leading scorer, having posted five points. Studley also led the team in rebounds with four.

Thea Laukka had an outrageously good game for Camden Hills as she went 9-for-18 on her way to 21 points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Leah Jones, who posted eight points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Hampden fell to 2-1. As for Camden Hills, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hampden will challenge Nokomis at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Camden Hills, they will take on Skowhegan at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
