Skyline piles up the points against Niwot

Recap: Skyline Falcons vs. Niwot Cougars

The Skyline Falcons entered their tilt with the Niwot Cougars with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Skyline blew past Niwot 67-33 on the road on Thursday. That 34 point margin sets a new team best for Skyline this season.

Skyline was led to victory by Andy Erives and Diego Kheng. Erives scored 20 points along with four steals, while Kheng scored 21 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Kheng has scored all season. Talan Starcevich was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with five rebounds and five steals.

Niwot lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Elliot Wisecup, who scored ten points.

Skyline's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-7. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.5 points per game. As for Niwot, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Skyline will take on Severance at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Skyline's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last seven matches. As for Niwot, they will head out on the road to challenge Thompson Valley at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Thompson Valley is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 68.6 points per game this season.
