Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Curwensville). They never let the Williamsburg Blue Pirates get on the board and left with an 18-0 victory on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Golden Tide, who have now won eight matches by eight runs or more so far this season.

Addison Siple was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in two of her three plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Curwensville got a massive performance out of Ava Hainsey, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with four stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Those four stolen bases gave Hainsey a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ava Olosky, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple.

Curwensville kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
