Volleyball Game Preview: Dixie Flyers vs. Crimson Cliffs Mustangs

Dixie hasn't had much luck against Crimson Cliffs recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Flyers will look to defend their home court against the Mustangs at 7:00 p.m.

Dixie is headed into Thursday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their tenth straight game on Tuesday. They fell 3-1 to Cedar.

Dixie couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Cedar a tough time in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-21, 20-25, 25-22, 30-28.

Meanwhile, Crimson Cliffs made easy work of Snow Canyon on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won six in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-21, 25-16.

Dixie better focus on containing Colsen Neal and Nathan Dana as the pair were huge in Crimson Cliffs' win. Neal had 17 digs and five assists, while Dana had four digs and three aces. Dana is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 12 or more in each of the last 12 games he's played.

Crimson Cliffs' victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-8. As for Dixie, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-15.
