Redwood has gone a perfect 10-0 against Porterville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Rangers will be playing at home against the Panthers at 4:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Redwood has three straight wins, Porterville has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Redwood barely beat Mt. Whitney the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Rangers never let the Pioneers get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory on Thursday. The Rangers not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 26th (when they won 12-1).

Meanwhile, Porterville came up short against Monache on Thursday and fell 12-9.

Oscar Arias was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with three runs and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Nick Miranda, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Redwood pushed their record up to 15-7 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Porterville, their loss dropped their record down to 6-17.

Redwood took their win against Porterville in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 16-1 score. Do the Rangers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
