Basketball Recap: Logos Find Success

Logos's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a 64-63 win over the Potlatch Loggers. This was payback for the Knights, who suffered a 77-51 loss the last time these two teams met.

It was another big night for Seamus Wilson, who went 8 of 17 on his way to 22 points and seven rebounds. He has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Baxter Covington, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 boards.

Logos smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

The victory got Logos back to even at 2-2. As for Potlatch, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Logos will take on Prairie in a holiday battle at at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Potlatch and Deary will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Potlatch's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
