D'Iberville is 9-1 against Biloxi since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The D'Iberville Warriors will face off against the Biloxi Indians at 6:30 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

D'Iberville's usually-dominant pitching crew will be looking to make up for Monday's struggle, when South Panola hitters got past them. D'Iberville came up short against South Panola on Monday, falling 11-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Warriors have suffered since May 4, 2024.

Meanwhile, Biloxi lost 12-1 to Lafayette on Wednesday. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Nia Shannon made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season.

D'Iberville has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season. Biloxi's loss dropped their record down to 9-5.

Everything went D'Iberville's way against Biloxi in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as D'Iberville made off with a 9-3 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for D'Iberville since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
