Baseball Recap: Scripps Ranch Takes a Loss

Scripps Ranch came into this matchup off a tough seven-run defeat last Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Mt. Carmel Sundevils by a score of 6-4 on Wednesday. The Falcons just can't catch a break and have now endured eight losses in a row.

Cooper Sitton made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.

Scripps Ranch's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Mt. Carmel, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-4 record this season.
