Soccer Game Preview: Roosevelt vs. O'Neill

The Roosevelt Presidents will head out on the road to square off against the O'Neill Raiders at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Roosevelt will be strutting in after a win while O'Neill will be coming in after a defeat.

On Friday, Roosevelt was able to grind out a solid victory over Marlboro Central, taking the game 3-1. Celeste Gorres had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Roosevelt.

Meanwhile, O'Neill unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of Burke Catholic by a score of 1-0 last Wednesday.

The win got Roosevelt back to even at 6-6. As for O'Neill, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
