James River Midlothian is 7-1 against Powhatan since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday.  In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Cooper Harris, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with one  home run, three  runs,  and three  RBI. That  home run was  his first of the season.  Eli Hulette was another key player,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
 Meanwhile, Powhatan had just enough and edged out Patrick Henry  2-1 on Thursday. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Indians.
 James River Midlothian's record now sits at 5-1. As for Powhatan, their record is now 4-2.
