Softball Recap: Arlington Eagles vs. Wahoo Warriors
Arlington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 16-7 to the Wahoo Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 11-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.
Arlington saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tessa Spivey, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. Spivey has been consistent recently: she hasn't pitched less than six innings in five consecutive appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Lydia Schaapveld, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.
Arlington's loss dropped their record down to 12-15. As for Wahoo, the victory got them back to even at 12-12.
Arlington didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-0 defeat against Douglas County West on the 3rd. Wahoo does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
