Softball Recap: Kennedy Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Kennedy can now relate to. They came up short against the Shelton Gaels on Monday, falling 16-0.

Kennedy has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season. As for Shelton, they pushed their record up to 16-6 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home.

Kennedy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Shelton, they will take on New Canaan at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Gaels 2.6, the Rams 2.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
