Volleyball Recap: Richards Beats Phillips for Their Third Straight Win

Richards waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Phillips Wildcats by a score of 2-0. The Warriors were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Wildcats, so the Warriors were just returning the favor.

The win didn't come easy: Phillips scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-18.

Richards' victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Phillips, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Richards will take on rival Englewood Stem at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Phillips is set to face off against their familiar foe Air Force Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
