Volleyball Recap: Kankakee Comes Up Short

Kankakee lost to Thornridge two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Kays fell 2-0 to the Falcons. The Kays have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Kankakee was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-22.

Kankakee now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Thornridge, they pushed their record up to 10-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Kankakee wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Tinley Park on the 22nd. As for Thornridge, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Cristo Rey Jesuit on the 22nd.
